Degree Verifications

Verification requests can be made via email to the PA Program at paverifications [at] gwu [dot] edu (paverifications[at]gwu[dot]edu). Please be sure to attach the form(s) to your email to reduce the processing turnaround time.

Alumni who wish to obtain a replacement or duplicate copy of their diploma must submit the Diploma Replacement form  through the main University Registrar with appropriate payment. Please note that the main University’s Office of the Registrar does not keep copies of diplomas on file. Replacement diplomas/certificates are ordered on or around the 15th of each month and there is a 4-6 week turnaround for them to be received from the printing company.

"Alumni that graduated in 2015 forward, should submit program verification requests via the GWU Physician Assistant Program Verification form (2015 Forward). Access to this form does require you to use the Single Sign-On verification system and will allow you to upload your specific form via the verification form.

 
Alumni that graduated prior to 2015, should submit program verification requests via the GWU Physician Assistant Program Verification Form (Prior to 2015). Access to this form does not require you to use the Single Sign-On system and will require you to upload your specific form here. Please make sure to use your name as the name of your file to assist us with processing.

 
All third party verification requests should include a completed Third Party Authorization form or a comparable Third Party form with their verification form requests.

 
The typical processing time is 1-3 weeks. Missing or incomplete documentation can cause delays in this processing time."
