Professional Development Resources

Having accepted your offer of admission to the GW PA Program, you have begun your journey to becoming a graduate physician assistant. There are four organizations that are critical to our profession: the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants, the Accreditation Review Commission on Physician Assistant Education, and the Physician Assistant Education Association. While each of these organizations has different missions, each provides a vital service to our profession. During your first semester, the PA Role course will explore each in turn and provide you the necessary foundation to understand their importance. Below are links to the organizations for you to explore.
